Electric Bike-sharing
Alpaca
“Alpaca” wanted to move in a differentiated direction in the growing shared bicycle industry. A new bicycle formation was needed to match their brand image, which was young, technological, and friendly.
We wanted the technological side of the electric bike to naturally permeate the friendly and cute image of the alpaca brand to create a new look. We had to develop a new framework for this.
The monitor that the user sees is made in an oval shape, giving a friendly impression, and this part consists of parts that are easy to replace for easy maintenance due to frequent damage.
As with many shared bicycles, we had to find novelty within the overall norm, such as the durability of bicycles, the risk of damage, and the ease of post-service.
The overall bicycle frame uses a simple yet soft curve to suit the brand image of an alpaca, creating a flexible, voluminous, and robust structure.
Instead of hiding the battery, which is the core of the shared bicycle, in the bike, we boldly exposed it to create a technical look while emphasizing the characteristics of the electric bicycle.
