Emphasizing the potential of the display and the core of a new experience, we introduced a backward-flipped concept that provides users with a fresh PUI experience and enhances the display’s functionality compared to existing models.
Our direction for this project was to be ‘Unnormal’. On the side view, the tapered form line gives tension that avoids the design a bit bland. Flattened edge from the side parts was an intention to contrast with round curves.
Expectations are set high with the 180-degree curved edge. The inner edge interfaces adapt based on app functions, such as a camera app. The manual mode’s dial control experience is seamlessly integrated by smooth edge sliding. PUIs like these are poised to offer users fresh, innovative experiences.
