FAST AND SOPHISTICATED, BALL JOINT DELTA 3D PRINTER.

Instead of using a Cartesian coordinate system, the Delta robot implements xyz space through spatial cooperation of three motors. The tripod moves the carriage along three directional axes, and three positional information is given, and the coordinates of the object in space can be determined based on this information. In order to improve the accuracy of the output and simplify the structure, ‘GENIUS’ have adopted the ball type for all the joints that move.

ADVANTAGES OF DELTA BOT

One of the greatest features of Delta Bots is that the print head performs all X/Y/Z axis movements and the bed is fixed. Because the bed is fixed, the output does not move at all and stable output is possible. Also, since three motors always carry out the movement at the same time, it can move the head with strong force. Therefore, it is possible to output the most stable and fast speed.

This advantage is particularly noticeable when outputting high-height objects. It is also suitable for outputting vases and pottery-shaped products whose output is spherical or whose height is higher than the bottom cross-sectional area. It also has the smallest horizontal area occupied by the same output volume, resulting in higher space efficiency.
